Summer Memories, Made Here.

Bear Valley YMCA Camp has been a destination for a summer adventure for more than 80 years. At Bear Valley, we believe that every child should have the opportunity to experience the wonders of the High Sierra in a safe and caring environment. Located near Emigrant Gap, Bear Valley provides kids with rewarding and life-changing experiences.

We believe that everyone - regardless of age, income, or background - should have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. Because we believe that opportunity shouldn't be a privilege. Whatever your financial situation, we will work with you to ensure that you and your family receive the opportunity to participant at Bear Valley Resident Camp, to help you reach your highest potential. As Bear Valley continues to grow we are developing more robust programming for our Counselors-In-Training (CITs). Registration for the CIT Leadership Training camp session is required, and fees include both the training session as well as one summer camp session. This form is where we will gather information to hold interviews with potential CITs and try to accommodate specific sessions requested. Please note: space is limited.
