The rules are simple and the game is easy, fun, and friendly.

This highly addictive game is a combination of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. Using a Pickleball paddle, whiffle ball, and a low net makes it ideal for all ages and abilities.

Pickleball is offered at Rollingwood, Sacramento Central and Oroville YMCA locations (scroll down to learn more at each branch)!

Paddles and balls provided at all locations, but you’ll soon want your own because you will get hooked!

Reservations available for both single and doubles play.

Pickleball 101

This class is for anyone new to the game of pickleball... first time players or have played a few times! This is not meant for players who understand scoring and have played for a while. We will go over the parts of the court, scoring, and basic strokes.

This class is for seasoned players who want to continue to work on their game. This is not meant for players who are brand new or have played fewer than 10 times. The focus will be on dinks, drops, serving and returning.

Game Play for Beginners

This class is for players who have taken PB 101 or understand scoring and played a few games. This is a great opportunity to get more experience on the court with players at your level in a game play setting. Our instructor will coach you along and soon you will be ready to join in "Open Play"!
